Mr. ZA Williams, the Municipal Manager, as duly instructed by the Speaker of Joe Gqabi District Municipality (Cllr B Salman), hereby gives notice that in terms of Section 19(b) of the Municipal Systems Act, Act 32 of 2000, a Special Council Meeting of Joe Gqabi District Municipality will be held on Thursday, 31 May 2012 at 11:00 in the Council Chamber, Barkly East.
In terms of Section 20(1) of the Municipal Systems Act, members of the public, including the media, and other interested parties or bodies are invited to attend the meeting.
The Council will be discussing the following items :

• Adoption of the 2012/13 - 2016/17 Integrated Development Plan
• Report on Reviewal of Policies
• Adoption of the 2012/13 Budget

The meeting is scheduled as follows :
